Company Name, Segi, is derived from Sẹ̀gílọlá.
Sẹ̀gílọlá combines two Yoruba words.
Sẹ̀gí is a type of bead in Yoruba land; common and popular only among the rich chiefs and royals.
Ọlá is best translated as riches and wealth.
When named one or a combination of these two Yoruba words, the comparison is to the bead, hence, making a cultural association to wealth and royalty.

Segi Shop is based out of the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia metropolitan area, but our products ship all over North America and world-wide (Germany, Israel, Turkey, UAE – to name a few countries).
