All Sales Are Final Policy:
Due to products being handmade, one of a kind, and/or consumption-based, all sales are final. Items or gift cards cannot be returned for exchange, credit, or refunds. All inspection and care is taken when shipping orders to prevent defect or damage during transit, but please contact us within 5 days of receiving your order if there is significant damage to the order inside the package.
Handmade items, by nature, have imperfections. Please understand that all Segi Bella and Segilola products are handmade, and even though artisans make every effort to create only the best, natural blemishes and imperfections on fabric or due to construction are what make each item unique and rich in details. Please note that sizing of handmade products (i.e. mini, small, medium, large, extra large) are estimated, relative or objective and should not be compared with other brand sizing or Segi Shop marketing images.
Similarly, Segi Snacks’ organic food products are traditionally made. Taste, texture, shape, and coloring may vary slightly with each order or any Segi Shop marketing materials or images based on features such as (but not limited to) product harvest. Please note that in the event that Chips are shipped, there may be brokenness or cracks in chip sizes as a result of the transit journey or courier handling. Visual transformations in the product inside the package is not considered damage by Segi Shop or the chosen courier unless the shipment packaging or snack packaging has been damage such that the order is no longer trusted as safe for consumption.
Segi Shop is not responsible for lost or stolen packages confirmed to be dispatched or delivered to the address entered for the order. Upon fulfillment, Segi Shop will confirm dispatch to the address provided in the order by sending a corresponding tracking number(s) and carrier information for our customer to monitor or investigate with the courier directly.
Things to Consider When Shopping Handmades
Segi Shop strives to accurately measure and photograph products, but variations may occur due to the nature of the handmades we sell.
Sizes of fashion items listed in descriptions (e.g. “small”, “large”) are approximate. Size shouldn’t be compared to other brands or individual measurements as ready-to-wear sizes vary.
Sizes of decor items listed in descriptions are approximate and are measured as the overall width laying down flat. The actual size may vary as the decor products we sell are handmade.
Due to variations of color settings and qualities of phone/tablet/computer screens, it is unavoidable that colors will appear differently for everyone. The colors in photos and named descriptors (e.g. “blue”, “dark blue”) are subjective, approximate, and may also vary. Most African fabrics have multiple colors in the print and we may not capture every color in the product description or attribute.
Fabrics are machine washable and can be cleaned with store-bought fabric cleaners. Please consider delicate settings to maximize the fabric’s vibrancy.
Shipping Policy:
Processing time
For wholesale or event snack orders, please allow a minimum 10 business day for processing and another minimum 4 business days for label customizations. Please note that we will not begin processing an order until full payment has been received; please consider payment processing when working back from a need by or event date.
Otherwise, please allow 1-4 business days for your Segi Shop order to be prepared and dispatched for shipment. While we pay for a certain class of shipping service, delivery dates are estimates that we as Segi Shop do not calculate or control.
If you buy items from both Segi Handmades and Segi Snacks in a single order, please note that items may be processed and shipped in separate packages to protect each product type.
Customs and Import Taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Segi Shop is not responsible for delays due to customs.
Within the US, taxes are calculated based on the State entered for the order payment.
Shipping time
Segi Shop prefers to use United Parcel Service (UPS) 1-5 business days ground shipping service for domestic US shipments and United States Postal Service (USPS)/FedEx services for military base/international shipments. Please note that bulk orders shipped via the United States Postal Service (USPS) Retail Ground 5-10 business days service will not be covered by insurance and any attempts to reship will require additional payments from the customer. Segi Shop is not responsible for delays in package delivery once processed and dispatched to the courier. Please contact the courier directly using the tracking number provided by Segi Shop to investigate delays.
Shipping Cost
Segi Shop charges flat rate shipping costs on all orders. Variations in cost depends on features such as (but not limited to) domestic vs. international, product type(s), quantities ordered, and the delivery service selected (for examples). Shoppers with a shipping address within 25 miles of Arlington, VA automatically receive a shipping discount rate for shopping local.
*Please note that Free Shipping offers related to minimum spend or coupons (i.e. Free Shipping for Snack orders over $35, Free Shipping for Handmade orders over $150): 1) exclude Wholesale and Event orders or similarly higher volume/weights/quantities, 2) are only available for shipping addresses within the USA, and 3) relate to only an initial shipping attempt and as any requests or requirements to resend an order will require payment.
